The new Enhancing Youth Employment (EYE) project in Kosovo is financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC and implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation and Management Development Associates MDA. The project’s overall objective is to promote job opportunities for young women and men in Kosovo by focussing on three interrelated areas: private sector and value-chain development, skills development and job search (matching) services.

The inception phase has already been completed; the implementation phase will start on 1st January 2013 and end 31 December 2016. For the implementation phase, the project consortium is recruiting for the position of

Project Manager

The project manager will lead the team and manage project implementation, including the following: team management and coaching, planning of activities and task delegation, management of experts inputs and partner relations, controlling of project financial and other resources, monitoring of progress, reporting, providing orientation to the team along the project document and operational plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Academic degree in business administration, economics or related socio-economic subjects

• At least 3 years of proven project management experience

• An excellent understanding and knowledge of the private sector in Kosovo (working experience here is of advantage)

• Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to network

• Very good English language skills (both orally and written)

• Excellent and demonstrated analytical writing skills (in English)

• Very good organisational skills
